I'm still using Neteller. No problems whatsoever.

what books have you deposited from via Neteller, and received funds via Neteller since Neteller has stopped doing business with USA residents?

That is a good question. I am also curious to know if books are continuing to use Neteller to pay non-US players.

I think that says quite a bit if CRIS, OLY, Betfair and Pinny still trust neteller....

I think its a good sign that everyone will get paid....

after all, when you send funds from Neteller to Greek, the money just goes to the Greeks Neteller account, is that not correct?

I wonder if EFT's to the Sportsbooks have been delayed in the same way that the EFT's to USA clients have been delayed?

Among our sponsors, the answer (so far) is yes. Can't speak for the industry as a whole, tho.

I'm still using NETeller to move stuff around.

I requested a withdrawal from BetRoyal on Jan 18/07 through my Neteller account and recieved the following reply;

Dear Customer

Greetings from Royal Sports
You will probably by now have heard of the recent charges brought by the FBI against the Founders of NeTeller, John LeFebre & Stephen Lawrence. As a result, NeTeller is no longer permitting transactions between <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">USA</st1:place></st1:country-region> residents and offshore books such as BetRoyal.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
For further info see: http://content.neteller.com/content/en/member_businessupdate.htm<o:p></o:p>
This latest move is not unexpected and BetRoyal has been researching alternative solutions in anticipation of the eventual demise of NeTeller for <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">USA</st1:place></st1:country-region> customers.<o:p></o:p>
Firstly, we would like to reassure you that as a BetRoyal client, you can still send and receive funds via the following methods:<o:p></o:p>
  • <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2">Visa<o:p></o:p> <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2">Mastercard<o:p></o:p> <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2"><st1:place w:st="on">Western Union</st1:place><o:p></o:p> <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2">Moneygram<o:p></o:p> <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2">Click2Pay<o:p></o:p> <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2">Bank wire<o:p></o:p> <LI class=MsoNormal style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2">Cashier Check<o:p></o:p>
  • Money Order<o:p></o:p>
BetRoyal is in the process of developing a comprehensive e-wallet solution that we believe will become a practical long term replacement for NeTeller and we will advise you of the details as soon as the terms are finalised; we expect the launch of the new RoyalCard to occur within one month. In the meantime, we recommend you use our high approval credit card processing or any of the other options mentioned above.<o:p></o:p>
BetRoyal, which has been overcoming payment obstacles for more than 10 years, is making every effort to be able to continue offering sports wagering to its clients and expects the gambling industry to flourish in the years ahead. When we reflect on the past withdrawal of Paypal, Firepay, Party Gaming, Sportingbet, Betfair, Tribeca, Moneybookers, Pinnacle and others from the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">US</st1:place></st1:country-region> market, we perceive this NeTeller hiccup as just another bump in the road.<o:p></o:p>
If you have any questions in regard to payment options please contact your Account Manager or our Customer Service Department. (csd@BetRoyal.com or phone 1-800-818-1000).<o:p></o:p>
Sincerely,
The BetRoyal Team

I then clicked on to their link for further info and read the following;

Does this change affect non-US members? No, NETELLER customers with registered addresses outside of the US will not be affected by these changes. The company will continue to operate its non-US business as normal, maintaining all existing products, services, customer and merchant support across all the other countries it currently serves.

But when I called them about this they told me that they are not using
Neteller any more for any of their customers???They told me that they would send me a check.Why would they stop using Neteller services for
their non-usa customers?? :WTF:

Good question. Not surprising to hear from Royal, though.

Do you need your passport to set up a neteller in the country you reside in?
